As a huge fan and supporter of product entrepreurship and growing brands, we’re excited to announce that we’re sponsoring Nearly Impossible, a conference for product entrepreneurs. The conference has two dates and locations: in San Francisco on September 20th, and in New York on October 30th (both single-day events).

We’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and to meeting lots of new ones. If you’d like to connect while there, please let us know (leave a comment or tweet at us)! Wondering why we're sponsoring the event? Read on to find out.

Companies that produce physical products know how difficult it is to distinguish themselves from competitors and that it takes more than just a great product to be successful or to cultivate a cult-like following. Lots of brands make great products — but to make your brand stand out amid a sea of competitors, the trick is simple: offer an unbeatable customer experience.

Modern technology has created a consumer culture that expects a quality product and an equally amazing shopping experience, but not all brands have mastered the latter. This is where Shipwire can help.

Product fulfillment doesn’t need to be nearly impossible
In addition to factors you’ve already considered (an attractive webstore, easy navigation, mobile-friendly browsing, etc.) there are logistical factors that are often underappreciated, but that contribute to and complete a customer's experience. Yes, we're talking about order checkout and delivery. Get these things wrong and the rest of your efforts to create a positive customer experience are rendered useless, get them right and people will rave about your great shipping options.

We’ve seen new entrepreneurs overlook product delivery before and it doesn’t bode well. Backorders from eager customers (with complicated international addresses) easily pile up and turn into failed shipments, which damage the customer experience. Very quickly, a promising brand with great buzz can be slammed with bad reviews.

We’re here to caution new brands of foreseeable obstacles and to offer a solution through outsourced fulfillment. By outsourcing shipping operations, you don’t have to worry about a huge part of your business operation and you can rest easy knowing you're delivering a great experience to your customers. Read here for more information and come see us at the Nearly Impossible Expert Lab, where we’ll go into more detail about the decision to outsource and how it can help your business grow.
