Jeff Davidson, vice president of Ingram Micro Commerce & Fulfillment Solutions, will be sharing his insights on commerce strategy, inventory visibility and growth challenges during a panel discussion at the Omnichannel Fulfillment & Logistics Forum 2016 in Atlanta June 20-22, which also features speakers from Port Logistics Group and Bombas Socks.
The event is designed by retailers for retailers to gain valuable insights into how the industry is progressing toward the new era of omnichannel commerce. Fulfillment and logistics thought leaders will discuss challenges and lessons learned from their omnichannel experiences.
Davidson will talk about hurdles and wins achieved during the panel, “Inventory Strategy to Support a Seamless Omnichannel Experience.” During the discussion, attendees will hear about strategies retailers are adopting to manage inventory regardless of where consumers are located while shopping. Attendees will also learn how to order and route inventory, how to deploy inventory, how to improve inventory visibility and how to build warehouse management-level accuracy into other points of sale.
Davidson will outline Ingram Micro Commerce & Fulfillment’s inventory strategy across sales channels, including how Ingram Micro works with customers to lay out a complete fulfillment and inventory strategy that aligns with their unique business needs. He will discuss how to balance inventory geographically to help reduce ecommerce delivery costs and will also talk about key short- and long-term inventory strategy trends.
